FAQ
Real answers. No runaround.
The questions we get every day, answered honestly.
How fast will Kwik arrive in Austin?
Our internal target is under 30 minutes for most calls inside Austin city limits. Suburbs and highway calls can vary based on traffic and distance, but you’ll get a real ETA on the phone before we roll.
How much does a service call cost?
Every service (jump start, tire change, lockout, fuel delivery) is a flat $75. If you’re outside our core service area a small mileage fee may apply — we always quote it upfront.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, tap-to-pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and cash. Receipts are emailed automatically.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Every Kwik technician is licensed, insured, and background-checked. Ask when we arrive and we’re happy to show you.
Can you help on the highway shoulder?
Yes. Our crew is trained and equipped for shoulder work with cones, hi-vis, and safety lighting. If a location is truly unsafe, we’ll advise a short tow to a safer spot.
Do you do tows?
Kwik focuses on quick roadside fixes (jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel). If you need a tow, we’ll connect you with a trusted local towing partner.
What areas do you cover?
We cover all of the greater Austin metro — downtown, East Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leander, Bee Cave, Lakeway, and every highway between.
Can I schedule ahead of time?
Most calls are on-demand emergencies, but yes — if you know your battery is weak or you’re moving and need a fuel top-off, call us to schedule.
